Studiomaster C6XS-16 Mixing Console. 
Combining excellent sound quality, a well thought out feature set, and excellent ergonomics, the C6XS-16 offers big console features in a compact format. 
 
So many affordable, compact mixing consoles seem to always be missing something, leaving you feeling that you're compromising. If only it had more inputs.....we really need one more aux send.....it would be great if it had on-board effects so we didn't have to carry around a separate effects processor, etc....
Well....finally, there's a compact mixing console with the features you need.....
 
Generous Input Count. 
12 input channels are available 8 of which are mono mic/line inputs, 2 of which are mono mic/stereo line, and 2 of which are dedicated stereo line inputs. So you've got enough inputs to handle anything up to a small band (if you're creative with your drum microphones).
There are also additional stereo returns and a 2-track (phono) input. 
 
Pro-Level 3 Band Mid-Sweep EQ.
The main mono/mic inputs have a powerful 3 band EQ with mid sweep that offers powerful, precise sound shaping, so you can really home-in on that kick drum sound or really make your vocals stand out. The stereo input channels have a 3 band EQ with a fixed mid frequency. 
 
Powerful Aux Section. 
This is where the C6XS-16 really scores. So many compact 'live' consoles don't offer enough pre-fade aux outs for monitors, or have a post fade (effects) out when you really don't want one! Here we have 2 pre-fade aux sends for monitors and an aux send for the on board effects processor....but we also have.....(tada!)...a third aux send which is switchable pre (for monitors) or post (for an external effects unit). So you can have three pre fade monitor sends! You can have 2 at the front of the stage with one for the drummer...probably pretty much the minimum requirement for a band/venue/church type setup. 
 
2 Stereo Subgroups.
Really useful for grouping your drum mics, or vocal mics and then controlling their group level via a single fader. 
 
On Board Digital Effects. 
16 great sounding effects including reverb and delay. Great for your vocals and snare drum!
 
Mute/PFL Switches. 
Then there's the sort of things that make your mixing easier and more rewarding....such as 'mute' switches on every channel so you can instantly mute a channel without adjusting the fader, and PFL input metering lets you check the input level of the signal and monitor it via your headphones. 
 
+48V Phantom Power. 
Phantom power will provide power to any condenser microphones or D.I. boxes you may be using. 
 
'Ergonomic Design'. 
The C6XS-16 has a 'raked' design that slopes towards you so you can easily see all the controls, making your mixing even easier. Like a 'proper' mixer.
